Consulting at: The Bay Family Medical Centre, 75-79 Bailey Road, Deception Bay.

Duncan is a GP offering Implanon ("the bar") and IUS or IUD insertion (Mirena and Copper IUD).

He is registered for Veteran's Affairs patients, and will see patients covered by WorkCover Queensland, InjuryNET and Auspost WorkREADY.

Due to persisting real-terms cuts to your Medicare rebate, only patients under 16, at school, or over 80 are bulk-billed.
There are fee discounts for students, pensioners and healthcare card holders. If you have a long-term health condition, you should enquire about a management plan, which would allow your routine chronic disease care to also be bulk-billed.

Duncan moved to Queensland from the UK in 2013, having completed both his undergraduate and postgraduate training as a doctor in Edinburgh, Scotland.

He has worked in a variety of specialties as part of his comprehensive training in General Practice, including Paediatrics (Royal Hospital for Sick Children, Edinburgh), Obstetrics and Gynaecology (Simpson Memorial Maternity Pavilion, Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh), Psychiatry (Royal Edinburgh Hospital), Ophthalmology (Princess Alexandra Eye Pavilion, Edinburgh), as well as General Medicine, Medicine of the Elderly, Emergency Medicine, Orthopaedics and Thoracic Surgery (Royal Infirmary Edinburgh).

He has additional qualifications in paediatrics and women's health.

Following completion of training, Duncan worked in rural South-West England, including out-of-hours, home visiting, and in an Emergency Department. He was also involved in research and audit to improve out-of-hours care. He has been involved in formal post-graduate training and supervision of both GP trainees and Nurse Practitioners, as well as undergraduates.

He is now settled in the Brisbane area, working in Deception Bay, providing general practice medicine to the local area, including North Lakes, Burpengary, Rothwell, Scarborough, Kippa-Ring and Redcliffe. He is happy to see urgent cases and emergencies which may be dealt outwith the hospital setting. He is also available for pre-employment and commercial driving license medicals.
